LGT Venture Philanthropy has joined over 35 organisations in a renewed US$1.8 billion pledge to strengthen land rights for Indigenous Peoples and local communities, supporting community-led conservation and ecosystem protection. The initiative aims to secure formal recognition of 160 million hectares by 2030, funding projects like land mapping, territorial management, and organisational strengthening to halt deforestation and biodiversity loss.

LGT Venture Philanthropy partners with the Center for Effective Philanthropy every three years to gather anonymous feedback from its partner organisations through the Grantee Perception Report. The survey benchmarks LGT VP’s performance against global funders and provides valuable insights to help the organisation reflect, learn, and improve its partnership approach.

After eight years of partnership, Liberia’s Education Advancement Program (LEAP), formerly known as PSL (Partnership Schools for Liberia), is graduating from the LGT Venture Philanthropy portfolio this year. LEAP is a partnership between The Government of Liberia and non-state school operators to improve public school quality.
