LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP) is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Khushi Baby, a pioneering organisation working to strengthen India's public health system through digital innovation and data enabled decision making to close care loops at the last mile.
Building on a successful first year of collaboration, the renewed partnership will support Khushi Baby's next phase of growth as it deepens its role as a systems partner to government and uses data-driven tools to close care loops at the last mile and strengthen the government's own capacity to deliver care. The partnership will also support Khushi Baby's role within SIRA, LGT VP's early childhood development collective in India, where the organisation contributes as a data and intelligence partner across the continuum of care from pregnancy to age six.
Khushi Baby works with government partners to equip frontline health workers with digital tools that improve decision-making, strengthen accountability, and help ensure that vulnerable mothers and children receive timely care. Through its Community Health Integrated Platform (CHIP), Khushi Baby enables governments to identify high risk mothers and children, coordinate care across health programmes, and translate real time data into timely action. To date, Khushi Baby has reached more than 60 million people across Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka, while digitally equipping and training over 85 000 frontline health workers to deliver better care.
The renewed partnership reflects LGT VP's long-term commitment to strengthening resilient public systems and improving outcomes for underserved communities. During the initial partnership, Khushi Baby strengthened its organisational capabilities across monitoring, evaluation and learning, leadership development, communications, and resource mobilisation, while continuing to deepen its integration within government health systems. In the next phase, LGT VP will support Khushi Baby in strengthening evidence generation, organisational capacity, government engagement, and cross sector collaboration across health, nutrition and early childhood development.
Archish Gupta, Senior Investment Manager, LGT Venture Philanthropy, said: "Khushi Baby has demonstrated how digital infrastructure, when embedded within public systems, can strengthen frontline delivery and enable more timely, accountable care for mothers and children. As we renew our partnership, we are excited to support Khushi Baby's next phase of growth, including its role within SIRA as a data and intelligence layer that can help connect health, nutrition and early childhood development systems more effectively."
Pranav Savanur, Chief Partnerships & Strategy Officer said: "Public health systems can only act on what they can see. Over the past year, LGT Venture Philanthropy has helped us strengthen the foundations that turn frontline data into faster decisions and better care - from monitoring and evaluation to the leadership and systems that allow us to scale responsibly. This next phase is about depth: using that intelligence to close care loops for the mothers and children most at risk, and working within government systems to deliver that care at scale. We are honoured to continue this partnership as we move from reaching millions to improving outcomes for those who need it most."
